Tornados First Win of the Season!

What a beautiful day for a game,
and what a beautiful game it was!

The Tornados have been practicing very diligently over the past few weeks. The team has learned how to throw the ball in properly, how to pass to each other, how to play their positions to the best of their abilities - and most importantly, how to play as a team. And all of this practice is paying off.

Today's game against the Yellow Team (team 15) had the Tornados playing their best. Aaron, Joey, Jace and Luke showed the other team how to score putting in a combined 9 goals. Madison, Kyle and Christopher came really close to getting a goal, so we'll be watching them closely over the next few games as we know they've definitely got the soccer ability to put the ball in the net!

Riley, Lea, Jonathan and Madison played Goalie today, although not much action from the Yellow team as Owen did his best to keep the ball at mid-field.

Thanks to Mr. Tracy for reffing for us (again) and a BIG THANKS to all the moms, dads, grammas, grampas and friends that showed up to support the Tornados!
